Cleveland Elementary uses LPS' Community with Character and the Leader in Me language at school
What does this mean for your child?
At Cleveland Elementary we practice Community with Character character traits and Leader in Me Seven Habits. Students are introduced to activities that will help them learn practical character and life skills that will lead to those positive choices.

School Improvement Goals
Reading Goal: 70% of students will read and comprehend complex informational text. Students will be able to identify the main topic of a text, explain ideas and concepts, and describe the connection of a series of texts. This will all be supported through citing key details from the text.
Writing Goal: 70% of students will proficiently respond to text through writing. Students will effectively quote from the text, cite evidence; analyze ideas to create essays, presentations or convey their ideas cohesively in a multi-media format.
Math Goal: 70% of students will solve multistep word problems utilizing the four operations.
