Mrs. Wysocki

Dear Families,
I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Erin Wysocki, and I will be your child’s Kindergarten Teacher. As we begin your child’s school year together, I would like to tell you about myself. This is my 12th year teaching in Livonia Public Schools. I’ve taught kindergarten through fourth grade. This is my fifth year teaching Kindergarten…which I’m so excited about! I taught at Randolph Elementary my first year, at Garfield Elementary for 6 years,  Hoover Elementary for one year, and this is my sixth year at Cleveland.

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, and received my teaching certificate in December 2002. I received my Masters in Reading from Eastern Michigan University in April, 2010. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching movies, being outdoors, and traveling! I’ve been married for ten years. We currently live in Brighton, and have three beautiful sons. Mitchell is 7 years old, Ryland is 5 yrs old and Reid is 2 years old. We had so much fun together this summer...always busy with three little ones! We also have a gorgeous 9 year old yellow Labrador, Dakota.

I am very excited to be a part of Cleveland Elementary, and your child’s education. I’m looking forward to getting to know your child. I will ensure an environment where your child will be safe, cared for, respected, and challenged. I feel that it is very important that we work together as a team and develop a partnership to help in both academic and social growth of your child.

I also believe that the students need to feel ownership for their learning, and be held responsible for their actions. Therefore, we will be developing goals, establishing community rules, rewards, and consequences.

Keeping the lines of communication open between school and home is essential for the success of the students. Please return BOTH pink emergency cards completely filled out as soon as possible. It is crucial that we have all information if an emergency were to arise. If you have any questions, concerns, or celebrations, please feel free to contact me. My email address is  I check this throughout the day. You can also drop me a quick note.
